Yeah there will be an updated list tonight. Sorry, i've been real busy with work and my car accident stuff getting worked out. I will be PMing everyone confirming their attendance situation.

We are meeting at SuperAutobac's at 11am on 7-28-07. <----That is NEXT SATURDAY.

From there we will cruise down to huntington beach then take some pictures, have a few drinks, BS, w/e. We can play it by ear if we want. We will most likely grab something to eat during the day so bring cash. I will bring a few drinks for the Beach cuase i know it's gunna be hot. We are not going to be grilling. It's too much work and it's very sandy at the beach. Maybe next meet that isn't at the beach. Grilling sounds good, but it's just easier to go and eat or buy a BUNCH of food and bring it to the beach haha.

i'm on the san diego naval base for the month of july... i woudn't mind comming out to see some stuff

ps. anyone looking into getting a invader cf hood and/or hatch? im also selling my 7gc seats, stock sideskirts, and invader front (black) and unpainted rear bumpers!! lol. the meet would be a good time to do some business hehehe. just giving the locals first dibs before i post more FS threads...

I dont think i will be able to make it , i have a class from 7 to 3 and i am usualy tired afterwards ... i guess i will make it next year , maybe by then my car would be worth showing , hope u guys/gals have fun

the 6th gen is still having some problems, i might just go out there anyway but not take the celi.

i'm not going to be coming. I have to pull out my transmission and replace it again. I had done this a few weeks ago but the replacement tranny has started to show signs of serious wear; leaking, pop out, bad synchros, etc. The only option is use my warranty to get another replacement and install it myself. I also need to change my cv half shafts, motor mounts, and wheel bearings. Should be a fun and inexpensive weekend .

well this sure is a good excuse to get my car cleaned after that stupid rain made it look crappy. i think i splurge and get wax and the works

Looks like 17 people total, 12 6GC members, and 10 Celicas if my count is correct. Still not a bad showing if you ask me. I just realized that Autobac's never called me back to come pick up those coupons last week. Oh well, I don't think anyone is really going to buy anything from them anyways, cuase like...it's quite exspensive there but very fun to browse around . 2 More days guys! My car isn't even going to be done for this meet, but i'm bringing it anyways. ****! You guys aren't going to believe this. I bought a stage 2 kevlar clutch with a 11lbs light weight flywheel from ezclutch on ebay (http://www.ezclutchnparts.com) for ONLY $396 shipped. The clutch/flywheel looked great, but I didn't get around to installing it until yesterday. Of course its a 6 hole model when I needed the 8 hole... so the dude would only take it back at a 25% restock fee ($100) cause I was trying to rush this thing to have it done for tomorrow's meet. So I'm out $200 in labor, and $380 for just a stage 2 metal clutch (6 puck, lesser quality), but I don't have much choice right now. And I'm still stuck with my old heavy stock flywheel.

Talk about teh suq. So I spent $680 just to have my clutch changed with a lower quality stage 2 metal. And they didn't get all the parts today so they couldn't finish and I'm out a car until monday. ****ING SUCKS.

Yeah I'm pissed, but there isn't much I can do. So unless I can get a ride from Northridge... i'm out.




I guess the good news is that I got my Kirkasaurus Engine mounts and installed. I found out that my rear engine mount was completely destroyed. The Kirk mounts are the only thing holding it together, but I have faith in the polyurethane.
