This porsche got beat by what the PINKS announcer called "the baddest import ever to be on pinks" laugh.gif laugh.gif a porsche got beat by a CRX laugh.gif laugh.gif

I have some pics of that CRX that was whooping everybody's ass (including a ROUCH racing built mustang) but im waitng for my girlfriend to send them to me.

Im upset that i didnt get there earlier mad.gif mad.gif the flyer had me under the impression that pinks final 16 would begin at dusk so we got there around 5 and we were halfway through the final 16 mad.gif

there were ALOT AND I MEAN ALOT of people there!!

id rather watch 2 stock cars race side by side than 2 tricked out cars that have to be 5 cars away from eachother because of such a hp diff

not at this one! it was PINKS all out! no sandbagging and no head starts! they bracketed peoples times and put them next to somebody similar. biggrin.gif

down here in florida its not that amazing for a crx to go that fast. down here in my area we have a bunch of crx"s running high 9's to low 10's. they are street legal too. its the easiest build to do in the honda world.

I was at Pinks too being that I live 10 miles from the track. It was a good show and had some great races. Mostly muscle cars but that CRX was fast as hell. All the muscle heads were pissed in the stands because the CRX was beastin...........loved it! laugh.gif

They should have faster imports. That's the big weakness of the show.

agreed, it would greatly expand the audience.
I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

I want pics of the CRX! biggrin.gif I've got a CRX with a b16 in it and a few mods. I waiting till summer to take it to the strip. It's fun but nothing compared to that one I'm sure. Do you know what he was running? Probably a turbo B18 or a K20 to get that kind of time... rolleyes.gif

to get time like that its setup is a h22 as the base. you can get into 10's with just a built motor. 9's with a turbo setup.

agreed, it would greatly expand the audience.


People with crazy fast imports aren't really willing to risk their cars. And this show isn't about people with really fast cars racing each other. It's about people with their own cars that they race/drive talking trash and getting whooped in the end.

I gotta work and get that $ so I can piss it away on bills and rent and other crap frown.gif . I dont work on weekends very often but it's always on a weekend there is a meet.
