New Gaskets ? - 6G Celicas Forums

Ok so i have an oil leak.. real bad one... so i'm going to have to pull the enging going to replace all the seals and gaskets , so i need my fellow Celicans help.. give me a good online site where i can order them ..

For your celica or your scion? Either way... local parts stores will probably have gasket kits, or direct from toyota. I personally don't like ordering stuff online... cause then you gotta wait. If they send the wrong sh!t... then you gotta wait again.

Check with Toyota... "toyota uses form in place gasket from the factory" I had a question about which gasket to use 3S or 5F and Manny (Pressure2) suggested it and highly recommends it.

that would only be on the oil pan, and a few other spots on the motor.
hes talking about gaskets for a rebuild kit.
IIRC mac, a refresh kit from toyota is ~250-300
aftermarket will be much cheaper, but then you get aftermarket quality..you know how that can be.

I'm just going to call up toyota place the order of the fun and have someone pick it up for me. I might just do a full rebuild while i'm at it.. or an engine swap lol .. any suggestions???
