header off ebay - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #47229 9 posts Started by goferris
i need to get a new flex pipe for my car because mine was punctured a few weeks back and i was looking around and found this on ebay.
has anyone purchased this? if you have was it for a gt or for the st? i tried to contact the guy a couple days ago but no answer.
also how did it work out for you if you did get this? would i be able to pass emissions? and was a straight bolt on or would i need to do some welding?
thanks guys for any help

question is the quality of the welds and piping, seems too cheap
yea i just heard back from him and he says that it will fit both motors and i am pretty sure that he is just feeding me some bs. def not going to buy

He's full of $hit. Def will not. From the mounting hole pattern it looks like a 7A header to me but I could be wrong.

i live close to there, i can ask him for a test fit and if they are any good, we could do a GB
its the 7afe ebay header with a flat black paint that'll probably just smoke off.

i got a stainless ebay header, its held up well and i like it. i even wrapped mine last fall and its still doing well. has a sweet pull from about 3000 rpm all the way up, like turning on the GO button.
