ok...i put and aftermarket stearing wheel in my 97 Gt....but i lost my cruise control. i have the 2 wires that turn it on but cant figure out where the 3rd one goes...ive already tried grounding it but that didnt wrk...so ne help would b appreciated.

Toyota cruise control requires three wires, normally coloured white, yellow-with-black-stripe and brown.

The cruise control switch stalk has all three of these wires. Brown goes from the stalk to a grounding point. White and Yellow-with-black-stripe run to the cruise control ECU.

i tried...runnin tha white wire to the button then from the button to a switch but it didnt wrk....im thinkin i have the wrong type button tho...cuz this one stays on or off it doesnt click on for a second if u know wat im sayin...not good at explainin things. thanx 4 tha help ill check out tha wiring diagram...i should b able to figure it out w/ that.
