Topic #47302 19 posts Started by Bigmeanbulldog55
I was looking at my vin number and I guess my Celica is #8122 off the line in 94. It's the last four digits of your vin and your year. I'm wondering who has the first and last Celica's made each year.

#8122 of the 94's

There is a guy I just met, Jeff, he works where I'm at and has 3 Celicas. He explained it to me once but I guess I was in so much awe I didn't retain the details. But here's what I got: It's a 3rd Gen Rally Celica, No1 Vin from Japan. I think it's a 3rd Gen, we're probably gonna meet up sooner or later, I'll have to get pictures of his clan of Celicas.

Not trying to jack the thread or anything.

But wouldn't Toyota have used the first 5 to 10 or so for testing and crash ratings and such, if not that, wouldn't they keep a few as to hold as mint somewhere for their collecting purposes.

I know Chevrolet does, as wheel as Jeep. The last three Jeep Cherokees that were made are kept in a Jeep Musuem or something like that. As well as a model of every year change.

Just throwing that out there, But I will check and see which one I have.

I have #5333 of the 94GT model.
we should make an order and sticky it and try fill it in
