how long is the drive from nyc to RI? i'm not sure if my baby's ready for a long drive yet..

you could easily get here in about 5 hours...not too bad

As of right now we should be leaving for R.I. Friday morning. Around 10 or 11am.

If any of you wanna ride up with us let me know. We'll arrange a rendezvous point.

you could easily get here in about 5 hours...not too bad

unless you hit MAJOR traffic vin, it shouldnt take you more than 3.5-4 hrs, especially with GPS wink.gif

So I will be going with Jim and maybe 2 others with my friends talon(tsi) I was wondering is there a hotel u all stay at? Also I am coming from NJ so does anyone wanna meet up and go together sat morning?

Oh the car will defintally be ready..... the tranny is comming tomarow and will be installed by an ASE lexus tech on may 5th.... so boook it! and we could make this meet friday sat and sunday biggrin.gif

This meet is gunna rock! so many people!
this time ill bring food. not a torn open bag of chips all over my interior.

Manny, i got all my turbo stuff off the engine.
putting an oil restrictor in and ceramic coating the turbo/mani/ and DP smile.gif
and hopefully have a new exhaust on to quite it down some. i wouldn't wanna attract too many cops..

Jeff I think as long as theres no snafu's with the car, I will be meeting you at some point early on seeing as your not that far in the first place.

Sounds great Tina & Erik. I would love to have a pack of cars to cruise up to RI with.

My plan as of right now - My car will be in Jersey around the DWG area. I'll be taking to RT.287 to RT. 87 to RT. 95. If you want I could link up with you guys at the Palisades Mall.

SNAFU is an acronym meaning 'things are in a mess – as usual'. The most commonly accepted rendering is Situation Normal: All ****ed Up, or, in polite use, Situation Normal: All Fouled Up. In modern usage, this rendering is commonly used, as is a "snafu" referring to an otherwise normal situation that suddenly went awry. The acronym is believed to have originated in the US Army during World War II.
