you can see more of it here: Wide Arch Celica

Not digging the front at all - it looks like a fish or somthing... But rear looks kinda intresting.

Btw - if headlight gets busted - how are ya planing to remove it from there ? smile.gif

Nice work...

This is only the plug, thats why its all smoothed together, In the kits it will all be seperate sections. so in case of a busted light you will remove the bumper as you would on an original one.
I rather like that - very race car thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif bowdown.gif

Dread to think what the cost will be but PM me when you know wink.gif
that looks awesome! thumbsup.gif

Not keen on the bit in front of the front wheels. I'd prefer a more fluid, rounded look to the whole of the front. The rear isn't extreme enough for me (I want it to be obvious to everyone when looking at the rear from any angle that it has a widebody kit) and I have PM'd the original poster with a suggestion on that last count.

Other than those minor dislikes, I think it looks damn sexy. Other than one firm in Japan this will be the first widebody kit in production if it happens so I am sure it will sell well as long as the fit quality is there.

i like it, i have always wanted to put a widekit on my car, and theres one. i just dont like the little bit that kicks out in front of teh front wheels. at teh very bottom. other than that its awesome, let me know a price when available
it looks pretty nice, although the front isnt my thing. i would prefer to just buy the rear fenders.
I think it looks really nice. The front is a bit too out there for me, I tend to like smoother and sleeker lines. But the only question I have is (like any widebody "kit"), how exactly do you sell the parts for the rear quarter panels? My understanding is that you would have to get it welded on, it's not exactly a "bolt-on" job. And welding isn't cheap, at least from my experience. Really great idea though! Nice work! Where are you located?

same opinions as the ones above.
the rear is nice and it's subtle yet not too wide or over-done.
the front is another story.

but this is great news nonetheless! will there be a kit for the gt-four owners?

i like it, other than the front fenders i guess, it is rare to ever see a widebody 6gc, only a few have done it... mad props and great work biggrin.gif
the rear looks amazing

Visit My Automotive & Tech Blog.
only good part about that car is the rear quarter panels...those are nice shapes smile.gif
Your car looks amazing man. Keep up the good work!
dont listen to some of the people on here. your celica is HOTTTTTT!!! your going to have some haters because your celica is the first one and they don't have the skills, money, or the time to be the first!!!!!!!
and that make you #1. thumbsup.gif keep up the good work and i'll be lookin foward to see what's next from you....
Nampetch has my favorite widebody biggrin.gif , but like i said not many people have attempted this and you did a great job, more people should respect the effort that you put into this thing rolleyes.gif

Pretty sweet but the front end just doesn't fit...but i guess if youre gonna sell it in separate pieces, it could be tweeked a bit. Rear end is awesome.
pretty hott. any way you can just flare out the front fenders and rear quarter panels without changing the bumpers?

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
Mad props on the custom work, very unique. smile.gif Always nice to see people trying
new things.

JDM guy made me do it.
hmm..interesting..any price range yet??
Thanks for the input guys, its all appreciated, even the negative ones. I can use it for our next one.

The main thing at this stage seems to be the way the front flares out, and to be fair fron the pic i have there it looks like it flares out more than it actually does, I will try to get a video of the car and post it, this may help people get a better view of everything.

Also regarding the width, its hard to tell there but the arches are widened by approx 60mm each side.

As for prices, at this stage i'm not 100% sure but we are aiming to sell the kit for under £1000 sterling which works out approximately under $2000.

Also there are plans for a GT4 version also. Depending on how much interest we get for one.

We are drawing up a quickly growing list of names of people who are interested in a kit at the minute and it will be a first come first served basis, so anyone interested can email their name and contact details to:

info@redsmodifiedmotors.com

Thanks again for all the input guys and all opinions welcome. thumbsup.gif

Will you need to cut away the orginal rear wheel arches?

I really like it if in the first picture you take your hand and cover up the parts closest to front bottom of the front wheels - the part that everyone says sticks out too far. If you cover that up the car looks amazing. Seems to be everyone's opinions so far. Maybe you should listen to these guys and produce it the way it is wanted. Would probably sell better.
