I have a friend who works for Toyota in Japan. Ive been talking to him about getting some good prices on the jdm projectors. If I can get atleast 10 pair ordered they will run us $625 for the full set. Also will include the halogen bulbs for the lows and the adapter to fit them to non projector style celicas. You will have to re-use your bulbs for the highs. These are new lights from Toyota. The $625 also includes shipping to my house in Pittsburgh. If you can pick them up from here there will be no more cost involved. If you need them shipped to your location then shipping fees will be from Pittsburgh to where ever you want them. Again this is just to gauge interest. If you arent sure please dont bother replying.

finding 10 people is going to be rough. GREAT price assuming you can get everything to everyone cheaply... WRONG section though... This should be in the buy sell forum... but goodluck... I'd love to see 10 members get them at this price

was this approved for a mod or Coomer, if not you have to work on that, if not I don't see this getting to far.

No it hasnt been approved yet, thats why I posted it here to see if people where interested. I sent Coomer a message the other day but havent heard anything from him yet.

Im sure I can get the lows/highs separately. But obviously to get that price you would have to find someone looking for the opposite of you, and hope we get 10 people. If it doesnt get approved I may buy 10 sets myself and sell them off.

getting more than a couple sets of anything from toyota takes time.
everything gets back-ordered, and people end up waiting months and months and months, getting all pissed off in the meantime.
and thats with 300$ tail lights. never mind 700$ worth of headlights.

i'm with you celica101 - i don't see any problems about gauging interest - not an actual group buy or sell until it actually happens - it'll just be like asking - how many people would be interested in getting a gt4 into the states for a good price knowing for a fact that it wouldn't be easy but do-able --
