so i dated a girl for 6 months... only to have her break up with me so she could be with her friend.
they date for 5 months and during that 5 months she calls me almost every week, and towards the end, every day crying and complaining that her new boyfriend is a jerk and is to controlling.
she breaks up with him, because she wants to be with me again.
I was going to take it very slow cause i dont feel like getting burned again, only to have her call me saying she is pregnet with his kid...
what should i think/do?

she was i guess my "first love" and she still loves me, so this is why i dont know what to do.

stay away... why would you want her after she ran off and got preg... if you meant a lot to her, she would have known that her actions were going to have consequences, and it def isnt fair to be with a confused girl that doesnt know what she wants

Thing is, with first loves, your really never going to be over them. You might get over the situation, but they're always going to have this special status.

she claims to not wanta keep it so i dont know... i think ima play it by ear and dont act on things till i actually see her do something not just talk about it

REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THIS SITUATION.

if you have to ask us, you're probably not really ready to be remotely involved with a mortality decision or fatherhood (nothing personal, but unless you've already made up your mind concerning either...it's too late now). especially since the kid isn't yours, get as far away from her as you can.

she obviously realizes you're a better person than what's-his-face and she's trying to play off that to get your support, and don't let her do it.

she left you, got knocked up, and now she wants you to make it all better.

i'm not suggesting you be a dick about it, but realize that if she really loved you, this never would have happened. perhaps you can offer your support in some manner, but decide for yourself what your limit of involvement is going to be and make that clear to her.

^^x2, everything he said. Shes coming back to you bc you were the best out of both of you and she wants you to make it all better, I and many others aren't without our first love, we live and deal. Offer her your support but realize if she really and absolutly cared about you and loved you, she wouldn't have left for a dirtbag and let herself get pregnant. It's going to be rough but be a good friend and a shoulder to cry on but steer away from feelings that may bring you together till the whole situation has time to clear off and die down. Then you'll know where hers and your feelings stand.

wow... i seem to be havin the same exact problem. well maybe not exactly. but if u know its his baby then i say move on. you dont wanna get stuck raising his kid.

Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes u dont realize how good something was till its gone. So she made a mistake by breaking up with u and getting with another guy? SO WHAT!!!

Shes pregnant now and needs to be thinking maturely and whats best for her child. She needs to focus on staying healthy during this pregnancy if shes not aborting it and getting into a relationship right now is not the best thing. So I say stay her friend and wait it out.
