Topic #47752 5 posts Started by jdmart
i have seen a few cars a few cars around that put some nice looking rims in the back and like plain almost donut looking tires in the front i take it its for racing or something well my question is i have some new rims 18' and i want to do something like that because i do like to race and plus if i ever get a flat i have another tire to replace it. do u guyz think its just plain tacky or should i go for it? of course all four would look better but i have m,y car dropped and i would like to do a lil racing

Its tacky. I don't think it is for racing. I think it is because they are FWD, so they put their winter/ all season tires on the front for traction.

2 different sets of wheels on a car = retarded

....Please never do this...All your tires should match all the time...If you have a set of rims you should also have a extra set for winter...Please...Just don't do this it looks like....

yeah, i haven't even seen what your talking about. It's not for racing (unless your confusing them with slicks). Don't do it. It looks tacky.

x2, i think you might be talking about slicks which would be just for going down the track. just go with all four of the same wheels please. if you do want to do some racing the get some slicks for the front and use them for the track only to improve your traction.
