Im in the process right now of trying to get the tweeters to install my ST. I took the door panel off and I dont see a place to plug the tweeters in. I really need some input on this cuz im just lost and I dont know what to do. What do I need to do in order to get these tweeters working?
wat r tweeters, what do they do?
BANNED. for life, you moron.
A tweeter is a speaker that produces high frequencies. You will need to run some wires down from the tweeter and tap into the wires of the door speaker.
On my JDM car there is a connector on top of the speaker housing that the tweeters can plug in to. I don't use it though as I use a crossover
the stock tweeters have a x-over super glued to the back end of the bracket, does yours have this? its going to look like a little cylinder... if it does.. then you can tap into the speaker line from below.... if not... you'll have to buy some crossovers...
Breaking Axles...
there was a thread on here a few weeks back that had a picture of a connector coming from the speakers inside the door panel. a few people said it was for the tweeters... wonder if we all have this?

Yeah I posted up the picture of a mystery plug in my door. Still haven't found the time to buy some tweeters - my front lip is more pressing as of late.
