coilovers?

^i was thinking about gettin these or something similar cause celicas look hot when they are dropped, but ive never done anything like lowering before, i want to learn lol

How hard are they to install and does it effect the way the car drives now?

you tolerated my nub question

thanks!!
dont buy cheapy stuff
Yeah LewFX is right, don't buy anything that doesn't have any feedback/reviews on it, especially generic coil-overs like that one. Get something that's name brand and reliable.
since the suspension cusions your car from pot holes, its a really important part of your car.

Geting cheap ones is like buying a cement bag instead of a proper pillow, and then a week later you are asking yourself why your suddenly getting neck pains.

If you buy incorrect springs, they can cause you to damage your hubs/wheel bearing/shocks/bushings.

So you saved 100 dollars now buying cheap springs. But it will cause you 2000 dollars worth of damage later on.

listen to this... i hope you save the extra $ and get something safe and reliable---for the most part, stay away from ebay
real coilovers go anywhere from 500-1000+. just get some decent springs if you're low on cash. teins seem to be the best bang for the buck.

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
Just get some gr2 shocks with some Teins. Buy from kurumamotoring i got mine for 155 shipped.

I'm willing to bet those coilovers arnt even tested for safety.

Tiens on ebay

If you want to lower and retain stock-like ride quality then go with Tein S-tech springs on KYB GR-2 shocks. If you want coilovers, but don't want to break the bank find a set of Ground Control Coilovers and pair those with the KYB GR-2's.

Teins are ~$140-160
Ground Controls are ~$325-400
KYB GR-2 shocks and struts are ~$175-220

I got my ground control's from eBay. Some shop was liquidating their things. I got mine for 300 bucks. I got my GR-2's from Andy's Auto Sport for 200 shipped.

im planning on putting in some tein s-techs...

how hard is it to replace the shocks?, do you even have to since they are just stock replacements right? the gr2s arnt 200 shipped anymore from aas are they. they were like 240+shipping if i remember corectly.

PEMN (please excuse my noobness)

The reason I got mine so cheap is because I saw that NOPI had a cheaper price, and I called AAS on it, they met the price, but then I asked "Well what is going to be the deal-breaker here?" Thats when they gave me them at a way cheaper price.
