I woke up at 8:00 AM this morning to my cell phone ringing, and it was Lotek. They said that the guy who initiated this now has the mock-up pillar to test fitment and stuff, and they're waiting to get it back from him, and then they can start production. So if anyone can get a hold of him, then we can this going hopefully.

i have one question? does the whole order go to the guy who initiated this and he sends it out to us or we order from the dealer? just wondering......cause thats a lot of work to do.

Looking at the mock up. It is a full A-pillar, however, they cannot reproduce the top section that ours has. So, you will have to cut the bottom part of the A-pillar off and replace it with the Lotek one.

I live in Palatine, IL. But use to go to school at U of I in Champaign/Urbana. So i would be more than willing to drive out to that area or a bit further to help out.

I thought this may take a while...custom made to measure things always take an eternity to sort out and fabricate properly.
