I had read numerous contradictions on this forumn and other. Once and for all, what company made the original 404 style body kit.

I want to buy an erebuni 404 kit for my 94 celica, but i hear erebuni is good and then no good, etc.
What company mad ethe first look of this kit and which one fits best/ best quality

I might be completely wrong here, but i will take a stab and say that the 404 is a copy of the trd kit that was made for the celica. (someone tell me if i am completely wrong)

Basically, any fiberglass kit that has been molded from another mold is not going to fit without modification.

You are going to need to do some modification to any body kit that you buy unless you get gt-4 front, stock skirts, and something like ssiii rear extensions.

404 is a copy of the Z-Glide kit.

I believe that z-glide is also a copy of the trd kit just named something different. Much like the actual veilside kit has been copied to "erubuni" and "shogun" they are all copies i believe.

Again i may be wrong so somebody please correct me if i am, i am just giving my insight to provide some help.

the side skirts are diff and they never made front or rear lip like that
but like it has been said, any aftermarket kit is going to require some modification and fitment. none will just "snap" right in.
some are better fitting than others but still will need some fitment.
