I`m looking for some info on what size spacers I should get.I`m thinkink about 15mm or 20mm?Does anybody know what size will be safe as far as clearance goes? Also could someone comfirm bolt pattern(5/100)& thread (12x1.5).Any pics would be a great. biggrin.gif
15/20mm should be perfectly safe, just go with a good brand like H&R traks and not some ebay junk
and yes bolt pattern = 5x100

What would be the best wheel spacer mm for 18x7.5" wheels with 40mm offset without having rubbing issues?

a 20mm spacer would be good with your offset...

20mm!? That would give you a "offset" of +20 and your wheels would stick waaay out from the well... just picked up a set of 18x7.5 that have an et48 but I have 15mm spacers, making the "offset" +33. If your rims are +40 I would just leave it, IMO is isn't worth the $300 spacers are going to cost you, but if you really wanted to get em, I'd just go with 5mm spacers.

Here is how my 18x7.5 with an effective +33 offset look:
I should also add I'm dropped ~1.5" all around.
