I went through all of the back copies of Sport Compact Car, Import Tuner, Modified, etc etc import magazines that I have (some go as far back as 1999) and not a single one that I have has a 6th Gen Celica as a feature car. Not even as a project car. I did find two pictures of custom Celicas that were taken at different car shows & put in different mags, but they don't have any writing describing the cars in either pic. I am wondering if any 6th Gen Celica (hatch, coupe, or convt.) has ever been featured in any tuner magazine? Besides little car show pics?

I figure that Car & Driver or Road & Track probably did a road test between '94-'99 but I haven't been able to find any back issues. They only thing like that I have is an advertisement for a '94 or '95 Celica, showing a silver hatch.

Does anyone have or know of any?

the flammer (my celica...lol) was featured in Street Trenz magazine as well as Performance Auto & Sound mag last year. It was also in online mags but i don't count those

i saw a yellow 94 95celica in a mag (dont know wich one) a few years back. it was mod very nicely with turbo or swap of some sort... but thats the only one i have seen...

You want to see real celicas in mags you gotta look outside of the US like jap, euro and aus mags.

I think It was the Nov from last year at least I believe it was...they told me it was in when they had been at the Montreal SCP 7 show.....I missed getting the Oct, Nov, & Dec issue so I'm not exactly sure what issue...I can sent them a message and see what issue exatly if you like

Yup Jap, euro and auz mags have celicas in them. I have a couple magazines with a red celica that has 404 front rear and sides. with rims and a lot of stereo stuff done to it in a mag and also a baby blue celica with the veilside kit and 20'' rims. and a lot of stereo stuff.
