Insurance refuses to pay for my Carbon fiber hood because it was not reported that it was on my car, so i am putting my OEM hood back on and selling it. it has minor damage to the front of it (from distance the damage is almost unnoticable), ive been told it can be fixed to new again, i however dont have either time nor patience to fix it.
(a lady at idle speed backed into me...cant parallel park)

This hood new cost 650, it also has an upgrade hood spoiler that was around another 100$

so im selling it, im looking for offers.

That sounds reasonable, i have the orig box it was shipped in, so the shipping probbally wont be killer,...hopefully. if you want it i can have it out early next week.

it was cracked when the lady backed into me...ya if someone wants to fix it ill sell it real cheap...i think someone already asked, i gotta check.

Ok so with hood off i noticed that the damage isnt all as bad as i thought, and most if it can be fixed by taking pressure off the front hinge (basically putting shims on the back 2 hinges) here are the pics as requested.


at this point, you can barely see there is damage...i didnt do anything to the hood before taking these pics.



sorry its blurry, basically this one tries to show that there is a crack...but it seals itself w/o pressure.
