Don't worry, i used the search button first, but I never found what i was looking for. What do I use to clean my engine bay? I want to clean it since its been almost 3 years since I've had the celi.
i suggest buying some wire loom, zipties, and a bottle of engine degreaser, some shop rags, and go to town. shield any unshielded wires to make them look more stock, ziptie things together and out of the way, and scrub the rest.
every time i go to degrease or wash my engine bay, the battery dies from the 'little amount' of water. are you supposed to disconnect the battery or something?

Or cover the battery with a plastic bag

You could have a buildup connecting your terminals DSToyo. Sometimes when the grime gets wet it completes the circuit and can short out your battery. Clean between the posts before you wash the rest of the engine bay and see if that fixes the problem. I'm pretty sure water alone can't carry the current long enough to short the battery.
