3sge.....some of the early model produce good/decent power, are usually around 1.2k with shipping, and you can get them with the automatic transmission sometimes..... try jarcoinc.com, they might have one for sale, or maybe even ebay....anywho, good hunting bro ^_^

yeah, but so is swapping in a 3s-ge/gte into an st.
ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.

That's "Caldina", and it comes with an AWD 6-speed automatic transmission. Although I've toyed with the idea, I really don't know if the ECU will run another auto, for example, a 4-speed 5SFE tranny, or not.
If you really want to stay auto but you want a turbo car, I would recommend putting your money into building the 5SFE you already have up and having a high-end turbo system designed and installed for it.

the caldina idea is good, but is it affordable within hypnotoads cash range.....if it isnt, then he should go with what tweak suggested and just turbo his 7afe.....

I don't know what it would cost but you could try talking to companies that make kits for the bigger popular trans and see what they say. I know the Chevy 700R4/ 4L60E are popular ones. Basicaly you can build an automatic that can handle the same power as a manual and it will be half the weight.

i had a 5speed Miata,i sold it cause i didnt like driving the stick...all i want is between 175-190HP out of the swaped engine,then add little more HP with Exhaust
