Topic #48491 13 posts Started by tufy
why does it backfire through second gear?

its not so much a backfire as it is an RPM/cutoff

he may want to invest in some differential and subframe bushings with all that wheel hop hes getting. :s

tufy,
your my hero! the video of you wasting him is my fave

Call me a traitor! See if I care. ;)
still, if the supra had some traction off the line it wouldn't of even been close.. but AWD over RWD anyday.. that pretty much just shows the entire point to..

some fatty slicks would do wonders for that car...
which im sure he has - for the track.
but for the street - some semi-slicks would be wonderful.
i wanna see him make some high mph passes.

the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.

i dont think you can say that....
1.There are a lots of example of cars that are exceeding their traction limits. Too bad he doesn't have some sticky tires to hook up more than he does.
Of course it is difficult to really know but, it makes me wonder if he really doesn't actually want to use slicks & polyurethane suspension bushings because then he would have no more traction excuses. Sure it's cool to do a smokey burnout to display mad power. BUT, if you're spinning you're not winning.

2. This Cyprus Supra driver consistenly "leaves his foot into it" past the the rpm where the fuel cut or rev limiter begins. He's looses serious momentum each time he "over revs" it.

3. Unfortunately the acceleration performance is as terrible as the way it sounds.

4. >>>>Here's a vid of a DIFFERENT very strong Supra. >> >>
They can SOUND great by only briefly getting into the fuel cut or rev limiter and making amazing music during a fly by without fully hooking up the tires.
