Is it just me?

I watched it yesterday at 10PM showing, and I really had a hard time trying to understand what they're talking about. Their pirate accent is just too hard to understand...

Gosh I need sub title....

yeah i saw it at 8 and it was pretty hard to understand, but i think i got most of it. over all i liked it better than the second one, but the first was the best. i hear there are going to be two more that have already been started to be filmed.

I saw the movie last night and I loved it and could understand a high percentage of what they said. For me though was the story. There is this gap between Dead Man's Chest and At World's End so in the beginning your left wondering why everyone is doing what they are doing and how they got that way. In addition, the story has alot going on and left some confusion in the mist for me, but I think I got it all by the end of the movie.

Yeah I knew what everyone was up to in the beginning.

I did have a hard time understanding some lines.

And they did leave it wide open for another. As long as they remain good I don't mind.

I heard the new one sucked. 2 different people I know saw it, and they both said that half the people in the theater had left by the end of it.

your two friends suffer from what we like to call "Bullsh!t-itis"
For real, I've only seen one movie that I felt like walking out on and it was the Libertian.

It def. did not suck. Slightly long, but I didn't walk out of the theater disappointed like in Spiderman 3.

>>I just got back from the movie and I understood every bit of the storyline, the only lines I had trouble understanding were at the beginning at the bathhouse in singapore with all the asians with bad english. The movie was awesome though and very creative, and the scene after the endcredits was awesome! biggrin.gif

94 Red Celica ST
i prolly understood it all because i live with the sticks, with all the same terrible accents and english! so its just like living where i am but on the screen haha ;P

the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.
yea i understood it all, watched the ENTIRE thing (even the part after the 15 min long credits)
it was a pretty good movie......and  she's hot
If anybody missed the scene after the credits look for it on youtube.

link?
just saw the movie, and well...much like the second one i felt unsatisfied..hmm, must be my imagination

Now SR powered
saw it at the drive in fell asleep and woke up it was still goin on it was too damn long
I liked the movie. At first i thought some of the stuff was too un-realistic and that turned me off. Then I remembered what they based the 1st one on. And i think they tried to cram too much stuff into the movie all at once. It would have been better if they cut some stuff out and drawn out some of the action scenes.

But over all it was a good movie. I hope they dont make another one, end it while its good.
Its not supposed to be realistic...

i understood the movie just fine. it was very disappointing to me however. and some parts were just plain dumb.

i didnt see the after credit scene could anyone tell me what happened. im on 28.8 k right now and it would prolly take too long to load
*Spoiler Warning*

Its 10 years later, and you see Ms. Swan with a 10 yr old boy (her son) walking to the water's edge so they can see that green flash at sunset. Then the Flying Dutchman appears with Will on it.>

I've liked all 3, so if they come out with a good story, I wouldn't mind seeing another.

Keira Knightley has already said she doesn't want to do another. Johnny Depp said he'll keep doing them as long as they're good. IDK about the other actors. Maybe a spin off?

I honestly don't see how they could do another without her if this is the case.
