when i saw it from the road. it was in a country lane about 100m from the main highway. i immediately spun the 540 around and went knocking on the door. gbota love country folk. she gave me the whole story: her hubby is a retires mechanic and restores FORDs and VWs. he picked the Cortina (L model) as is from a "neighbour down the way". the original owner bought it in '73, never took it out between november and may and only went "to town" in it. it has 63000 original miles and the original paint, trim and hubcaps. she started it for me and it purrs like a new car. no smoke, no rattles, no misfire. when i asked if it was for sale she laughed and said "Harold is around here somewhere, if i see him I'll ask." To which i replied:"He will never part with this, will he?" She said something to the effect that i was really smart for a young city boy and we parted company. Here are a few more shots of this curiously cute car from back when i was only a wee lad 10 years young:

well, i almost guessed it as a classic celica too, but then i remembered i once did a report on the change of muscle cars to boats and miniature cars. that was prolly the most fascinating b/c they didnt sell it in the u.s. ive only seen one in person and it was amazing. i wouldnt mind getting one and rebuilding it.
that thing looks like a european toy, or a lincoln

i'll go with the toy theory.

the scale of the asphalt is all wrong. there is no distinct separation between the door and the body. there is no detail in the doorhandles. i don't see any functional turn signals.

just a guess though

It's an Isotta Fraschini T8 (Italian). I think this is the one with an Audi V8 in it?

think about rolling up at someone at a light with that. You kid in the back in a baby seat. U teach the kid that if u rev the engine at a stop light, he has to give the car next to u the finger, so that when u blow them away the 2 year old in back is giving them the finger as u fly past lol...

im retarted. whatever.
