Hey guys, well the time came around in my life when I decieded to spend some money on a nice paint job..
The car was sprayed with a single stage enamel at an earl sheibs right before i bought it courtesy of Chanh55 , and although they did a great job for the money, the car had no clear on it so although it was glossy the paint wasn't exactly "deep". Well I was simply thinking I was going to do the same gloss black with a clear coat, but I changed my mind LAST MINUTE today when I was at the auto paint store........





So far, the dents in the front pass. fender have been fixed and the hail-marks on my driverside quarterpanel as well, thats all the "body work" that was needed, now for a full sand-down of the car...

who's going to be painting it?

Our car clubs painter, and myself. I have a w-400 and a devilbliss finishlile.. he has the shop and all, so we've a few cars to do by the time we start going to the events in h-town

what does this color look like i tried googling it...and Omni paint co. but no luck

Its NightHawk Black Pearl, same as my Acura RSX-S A-spec, its black with a very,very dark blue pearl.....I had it formulated at TRY auto paints here in laredo..

edit: OMNI is a PPG Submodel, not a company, its good stuff, as long as its PPG lol, which is OEM stuff I think..
A gallon of Nighthawk Black at Honda/Acura is about $500-600, i get my paint made for about $170 with my discount...

Nigh hawk pearl is a very nice black. Good luck with the paint job, I can't wait to see some pics

thanks, i just wish i had found a lip in time, im just gonna save the leftover paint for the day i get the lip, and im spraying my oem hood as well as a spare lol..

I'll get some pics tonite, glazing putty was all i needed for a scrape my the sidemarker and the hail dings:)
