yes, you can use the same wiring harness you have, the only thying is you'll have one extra bulb for the brake, but just take the bulb out and that's it. that's how I got mines with USDM wiring harness and some other members have done the same. is not worthy to pay extra for the JDM harness.
Extra? I bought mine for $180 with the JDM harness and I've seen auctions for JDM tails going for $10 less without a harness. I don't really think it's that much extra.
where did you get it for $180 with the harness? I think ebay is more expensive than that. Closer to $230 shipped.
the harness is plug and play. btw i got mine for 175 with the harness shipped.

Can we please add to the stickies that the USDM harness and the JDM harness are EXACTLY the same. This question almost comes up monthly.

It's not the same, the JDM harness uses different bulbs - push in style

Folks, folks, folks... Please... no fence... but if someone gives and advice should look first from what country recipient is 
. All you have have been giving good advice but not for every models/markets!
Valcor: you are from Norway so I expect you have the same harness like I have... that means your tails works like this:
There is main difference between Canada, US, JDM, Australia models and European models. That main difference is rear fog light. All European models has rear fog light. That means your tails on will not look like this:
1. JDM harness will not help anyhow...
2. your harness and bulb sockets will fit for sure
3. only what you must think about is where to put that damn rear foglight...
