Is anyone else using the newly released Windows version of the Apple Safari web browser?
I downloaded it this morning, and I'm incredibly unhappy.
The first thing I noticed was that when I maximize the window on my second desktop (I have multiple monitors), the window gets lost. It still shows up in the taskbar, but I'm unable to see it or bring it back, so I'm stuck closing the browser and restarting it.
So when I restarted Safari, the factory bookmarks that I had just deleted magically re-appeared. So I had to delete them again, and now they don't seem to come back. Thought that was a bit odd.
And what's most annoying is that Safari fails when loading pages with an unknown error, like so:

Wow, now that's a helpful error message if I've ever seen one.
I'm using it to test the new 6GC architecture/code, and it can't even load about one out of eight pages randomly from my web server on my local machine. If I type in the URL again, then it works.
Other than those problems, it seems to be nice. I wish it used the standard Windows UI design. But it's pretty quick, the rendering engine seems to work well, and it seems to be compatible with all of the new code I've been writing.
Anyone else using Safari on Windows? What's your experience been like?
