Hey, have you guys ever thought of (while repainting tails to all red) trying to spray only an outline for the turnsignal like the JDM kind, then leaving the inside clear and popping an orange bulb in there. Is it possible to get a jdm look out of it? What do you guys think...

no, cuz there's no clear on the turn signal. and also the reverse lights are in a different place, and there are borders around the sections on the US lights.

sorry, i wasn't clear. i was talkin about when your painting your tails red, but after having it cleared out like in the how to article on making clear tails (http://www.6gc.net/index.php/action/how-to_article/itu/2). and i'm sure something can be done about moving the reverse light over and re-wiring the lights. I'm gonna give it a try this weekend...

that would be pretty unique, not quite JDM tails, but very custom looking. i think if ur gonna go custom like that, u should go in a lil different direction than making them look like JDM tails. make em look like super custom.

i agree, thats quite a lot of effort to 'sort of get a look' do something completely different man, sounds like you know what youre up to! >>

well i love the look of clear turning signals on every car and i'm not paying $300+ for tailights, i got this little setback called college, so i figure this might be a creative cost effective alternative to jdm lights. but if everything goes right it should look exactly like jdm... have faith in my vision... lol

aghh, college, loads of debt and what do i have to show for it, loads of debt!!!
