A lot of squeeking coming from rear? - 6G Celicas Forums

I'm not very good mechanically, so I think it's a wheel bearing or brakes. It only happens when i'm rolling though. It's decently loud too.

bearing is very possible
my rear end used to squeak and it turned out to be the shocks.

is it when your driving you hear it all the time? or is it you only hear it when you hit the brakes? or when you hit a bump or when?? I have a squeak coming from my rear end too, but mine only happens when i hit a bump and its because i got a bad strut rod bushing.
I have had this problem too. Every now and then, at low speeds, I hear this squeaking when I leave on the gas and coast. I suspect the wheel bearing as well, but time will tell when I do coils and struts. I'll check it sometime if you'd like. I don't claim to know all, but I know enough to diagnose right more often than not.
Ive got a squealing type of noise that seems to amplify when I am on the gas, and less while coasting. Its like it gets louder as the RPM's increase, but it doesn't make much noise while going over bumps. I suspect its a wheel bearing frown.gif more money that isn't going to mods.

other from what u guys said...wanna check teh dust shields to see if its bumping on the rotor....
should also check the rear tierod and control arm bushings, spray some silicone onto the bushings (one at a time), and take it for a ride, if noise goes away, bingo!
