Well after installing and using a boost gauge for a week my 3sgte doesnt seem to have any boost creep. This hopfully means that the hks evc IV boost controller i bought will work properly.... as such i started to mod an extra shifter shroud.
I started my day looking for plastic things that have the same texture as the rest of the center peices. After a hopping around from store to store i finally ended up in a Office Depot and found this...

the plastic color and texture matched perfectly and the plastic was also strong.
After using a dremel and file set to get rid of the cig lighter I used a pattern i made to dremel this out of the magazine holder.

not a great pic as all of these were taken with a cell phone but you can kinda see how well the textrue and color of the plastic matches the rest of the center peices
next i had to make a braket and dremel a hole for the boost controller to be held secure and to poke its face through.

EVC mounted w/out plastic peice

mounted in car

evc mounted with plastic peice
vs.

I refiled some of the plastic peice that i made inorder to even some of the lines around the evc
