i like your bezel around the radio. I wonder if that piece can be ordered?

Hm, I don't understand... sorry, what do you mean?
IPB Image

your is a totally single din bezel (plastic around the radio that has the clock and air vents) for your radio, all usdm bezels are double din, if we convert to single, we have to put a pocket or fill the hole with something.

I really like it, woot.gif . Wish mine like that, but i have double din changer anyways. But it coudl have been an option back then...

Aaaah, okay. Well, that's from the old stereo that was mounted, I've removed it now... but it is possible for you to order one single-din. From the toyota-dealer.

But yeye, thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it smile.gif

I used the kind of filter they use in theatre and on stages during shows etc. I know a guy working with that kind of things, and he hooked me up!

Where in the world would a normal person find this film?? I know what you're talking about, but have no clue where I could buy some... tongue.gif

Okay, so I got my package from Hiroshima today... It contained JDM-taillights. O'god I've wanted them for so long time, and finally I have 'em! I let the pictures speak for themselves smile.gif Please leave feedback, guys!

. Peter

First off; them are some big @$$ pics... and secondly; you should removed the Amber plate in the JDM's. Gives them a nice clear look... I'm about to do it to mine too, and there's a walkthrough on 6gc somewhere...

PS - I love all the things you're doing to your ride... keep it up and keep us posted!!

PSS - and I really love the paint... the more I look at it the more I lose myself in it... wow tongue.gif

1. You could by some filter in some technic-shop that deals with light-settings etc, og just go to a stage/theathre and ask...

2. The pics are resized from photobucket, and probably ment for the most common resolutions on computer-screens around.

3. Yeah, I thought of removing the amber-plate, but I didn't bother, I just wanted them on as quick as possible. But I know it is easy, and will do it when my car goes to re-spraying.

4. Yep, I will keep you guys updated, and have more plans about the ride...

5. Yeah, I also like the colour, and will keep it, but have plans about giving it a layer of pearls before spraying the clear-coat! Think that will give it a nice look.

Thanks for the post KAOS biggrin.gif
I love your colour it makes your celica more shiny and beatiful! Keep us update with new pictures!

P.S Nice sides you got there!

OEM sides?

Nah, something called tr-style. I think it is 404. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. Replica of TRD...

Heheh, thanks! Can't wait to get them on!
Those looks to have the shape just like the TRD skirts to me. The 404a ones are more "blocky" in the front end as far as I know. Is that urethan? I envy you!! bowdown.gif

The code is 8m2. 8M2 Galaxy Blue to be correct. The colour is cool in real, and I can't wait to get the extensions on, and get the whole car re-sprayed. Wondering if I'll add pearls before the clear-coat, to get it look deeper with some sort of effect. Paint will happen during the upcoming months biggrin.gif *grr*

Steve; do you have a picture of the azure-colour?
been thinking about the 2 tone blue? something a little darker? where it changes, might look nice

Yup, I've thought of many things, but ended up that I want a smooth look, with one colour.

The car is, for information, sent in to the paintshop, with the trd-sides ( thanks whifbitz ) and the trd-splitters ( thanks doggy ). Can't wait to see the results :--D The whole car will be sanded down, and be straightened up. Wonder how it will look, for sure... smile.gif
Here it is, in progress...

Thanksthanks, they molded the extensions to hide the "gap", to get a smoother connection there, but I don't really know why they didn't mold the whole thing. I said I didn't want them to, so I could remove it if I in the future get unlucky and get hit or something.
looks great!! good choice in color too!

as far as the moulding... looks like you're going to have a problem either way if you need to take it off.

and if you get in an accident, im sure the moulding will just break anyway.

just an fyi, but i think the work and overall job looks amazing! cept for the blue tire

you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!(2:27:32 AM) edit: please f*cking work, f*ck, sh*t, piss(2:28:08 AM) edit: that did the trick

Hehe, yeah, but I will try to keep it on the road ;-p Anyways, by seeing the pictures I'm satisfied, so far. I said he just could give-**** in the wheels, because it is just a set of useless rims anyways, I will take the tires off, and refresh them for next winter, but when I get home now, it is summerwheels ( momo rims, you could see them at the top of the page), and it will be something different.

Thanks for the comment, though. It is fun to get positive feedback/suggestions/tips etc. smile.gif
Well, I took a friend out, and he went nuts with his camera, tried a couple of locations, and a lot of pictures was the result. I'll throw out two teasers, so the crowd can decide if I should throw out some more wink.gif Enjoy..

Looks fantastic!
