Im trying to figure out what im gonna do about my sunroof and im thinkin i might just get my roof patched up again and go with a full hard top. My sun roof is an OLD ASC sunroof that was installed after my car was bought by the old owner. The thing is, it got discontinued about 10 or 11 years ago and they dont make any parts for it, so right now, my switch doesnt work and the gasket leaks, so i need to get it fixed. But no sunroof company makes a sunroof as big as this one. So im thinkin of gettin a pannel welded inplace on the sheet metal and make it a solid roof again. But heres my delema, I dont wanna have to pay the extra $ to get my roof painted red again, mainly cuz it probably wont match, so im thinkin i might do somethin like what doggy did with his old car. Can some one photoshop my roof to look like this?

there's a company in USA makes the sunroof . Also there is no difference between asc and the european roofs. search the web

I wouldn't say that, My mate's got at UK Gen 6 Celica and his car has the same size roof as mine. It's quite a bit smaller than the one here, this is because it retracts into the roof space when its open and the Celica doesn't have a very big roof.

Yes, Toyota themselves called it a "moon-roof".

If your going to do that you need to black out the back window too. If not it looks bad.

P.S. I like the big sunroof I have a moonroof in my celica now but I want to glass out the top as much as possible.

when i said ASC, i ment the company called ASC. Its an aftermarket sun roof. A second company installed the sunroof after i bought the car. Its not an original sunroof, its some aftermarket peice of crap. Any ways, thanks for the PS. It looks sick.
