First Lady Laura Bush visited Mozambique for the first time. This is one of the highest level VIP's that we have ever received. She came here to conduct some site visits at the various HIV and Malaria clinics that USG funding has helped support. Sorry about the pictures. i'm no photog. But i got to shake her hand!

That's really cool. The highest I've gotten is just shaken a senators hand, you've got me beat. She's pretty cool, too.

LOL. Nothing strange like that, but oddily enough when she mentioned the President or the word God, the mic would cut out. Divine intervention?

Ha, ha, but no. I'm the GUY taking the pictures. The other lady is the Director of one of the clinics. My hand shaking moment was unexpected and uncaptured. i was taking the picture of a colleague of mine getting his hand shaken. After i snapped the picture, LB looked at me, smiled, waited, and so i stuck my hand out and she shook it.
