So I've got a white car that is horribly dirty, especially underneath the hood. So my questions are has anyone cleaned underneath the hood and what did you use? I bought some of this stuff:

I thought it did pretty well. But I may need something a bit stronger, especially if I want to tackle this:
Anyways, Simple Green is just a degreaser. I'm talking about everything. I want everything not necessarily to shine but to just be clean. Has anyone just started taking things out and cleaned them? Do I sound really anal and OCD-ish? It's probably b/c I am. Everything must be clean! Thanks for the help!
