on average are stock steelie rims heavy??? im thinking about just looking for some 17" 8j stock steelies or something close to that and was wondering just how heavy they are?

If you move from 15/16s steelies to alloy 18s, you likely wont change ur unspring weight. I recommend some some super light 16s. That and the bigger tire sidewall will make your car more comfy to drive, and give you more tire pressure playing room
