How not to Drift - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #49764 6 posts Started by manphibian
That's a local RX7 here. It was not a drift event, but an autocross event at SGMP Racing. Apparently he was sold the wrong lug nuts, which didn't torque down properly causing all the lug nuts to fall off. Only damaged appeared to be to the front fenders, read quarter panels, and most likely the brakes.

hahahah, if you loop the first 8 seconds over and over again its hilarious.

honestly, how can you put on the wrong lug nuts? if its the right thread it should go on perfectly. use a torque wrench to tighten it to spec and make sure it turns on there at least 8-10 rotations. its not rocket science...

There are some lugs that will fit, but not properly. Like 1/2" lug will thread onto a 12x1.5 stud but will not torque down.
