I got an e-mail that i have a personal message and when i sign into the forum it displays "O New Messages" in the right hand corner. When i click on it i do have a message.

wasn't sure if this was just me?

For some odd reason, that's the number of new messages since your last visit, I think. Not the total number of new messages. It's just the way the forum software is.

oh ok I just wasn't sure what that was. I thought it used to tell you on the home page too? The only way i knew i had a message was because i have it set up to e-mail me when i have one.

yeah I thought my internet was just screwed up... I have just gotten in the habit of checking my PM box frequently anyways

mine works there but it used to say on the home screen above "view your profile"or"control panel"it used to say like 1 new message now it doesnt afte rthe website renovation...

I'm not so sure about this. I have unread messages from last visit visible... so maybe I have some problems with "last visit" state... (I can not see anything via "View New Posts" after two days not being here sometimes )

I don't Have any problems with "new messages"...I see when they arrive in my PM Box...
I have a problems with "VIEW NEW POST"...I don't see the new post when I click it..
