hard water stains on windows - 6G Celicas Forums

does anyone have a way to get rid of the marks left from hard water stains on windows and mirrors for somereason my windows and mirrors all have really bad hard water stains on them even though i dry and wash frequintly and i dont let water sit on them its bad and if the windows get dirty at all it makes it hard to see sometimes can ne one help>?
Clean it with window cleaner and use rain-X

ammonia or try rubbing alcohol
ive tryed window cleaner and rainex the spots just wont go away its gross

^^x2 supposedly half n half of water & vinegar should do the trick, i just use windex, but we have soft water here

if it needs to come off and is stuck on, nail polish remover...it removes paint, and pretty much any thing else thats stuck on your windsheild..its because of the amonia in it, but for some reason i think it works better than just straight amonia.

It works better than amonia because it is basically lacquer thinner, which is why is removes the paint as well

idk im off next week and detailing my car and getting it read for my new front end so ill try the different things u guys have said im just tired of seeing all of these little splotches everywhere ill take a pic if i can from before and after if it works thx again!
