Celicav would like to meet up, and go as a group. Considering hes driving from Virgina, (i could be wrong) id like to accomidate a time that wont make him get up at 5am to get to the palisades when we (people who live an hour away) want to get there.

He pm'd me and mentioned 2pm (IIRC).

Thanks for the consideration. Yeah, it's like a 390 mile drive for me to the Palisades. I live on the southeast coast of VA. Mapquest is saying about a 7 hr drive, so I would leave at like 6 AM to be safe...most of the drive is up the Eastern Shore. Jason also PMed me about meeting him around his home in southeastern PA, then cruising to the Palisades. I'll see what happens with that. Either way, 2 PM should be a decent time, but if that does not work for the majority, then that is cool. I can try to work it out or fly solo.

New London is south eastern CT, it's at least 2 hours in the opposite direction.

As of right now it looks like the only day ill be free is Sunday, I can't leave base until 0730 and have to be back by 5:00 PM

I might be able to get out of here on Saturday if i don't have duty etc. (hopefully)

I can see 95 from my window, I'm probably 45 minutes from Newport which i guess would make it about an hour from the meet. ill mapquest real quick.

Well ill pay for gas tongue.gif and ill try to get out on saturday so i can actually make it to the real part of the meet tongue.gif


EDIT: I might be able to catch an amtrak train to providence which is real close to the meet wink.gif its like a 40$ round trip so you all better make the meet worth it! (not that you have to try very hard haha)

Gonna be so great to hang out wit ma fello Celi peeps...we are are a special group with our rare cars and all...holla! For those 21 or over, we need to do a little sumpin' sumpin' on Friday night smile.gif I know I am excited...

Besides the destination, I can't wait to experience the drive...I have never really been past Maryland.

Yeah, that's a hike to Bristol, 95 takes you up and away from it.

How are you planning to get from Providence to Bristol?

I'm most likely not going to be able to make it. My car isn't going to be running by then, I'm still waiting on a few last minute parts....oh well, theres always next time.

Haha, nahh im at the Coast Guard Academy across the river from the sub base. These are my liberty hours:
sat 12(noon)-1am
sun 7am-6pm

so i wont be able to go to D&B's although i bet its going to be a good time tongue.gif

Sh-weet! Right now I'm trying to POSSIBLY coordinate meeting with Migga, Jason, and Tina in NY Fri evening. We may have 4 Red Ggcs rollin' together to the meet. That might be historic if it is just the 4 of us...stay tuned. I know I am driving Migga and Jason crazy with my PMs but we will work sumpin' out. They are trying to work with me...thanks guys! A 10 hr drive alone would suck. I know I am a newcomer to this meet and it is a pain cause I'm coming far...but I know it will be worth it.
