^true that... i don't see why we need those, i mean, who needs a flashlight in the sunlight?
good one....
I kinda like the concept of those, I've been in plenty of countries where they are mandatory, and I always see cars better when they are far away, and maneuvering. But I am used to not having them. They serve no benefit to you the driver, but to other drivers.
Most useless for me, are the sun visors.

I dont know if you guys ever noticed this, but theres a button called "Loud" that supposedly makes the volume sound clearer and slightly louder. Its located next to the bass and trebel controls...i think its ridiculous bc it doesnt even rly do anything lol.
I have a pedal called loud, but no button

I love my under column air vent, its great for keeping the crown jewels cool with the A/C on

Most useless part of mine is the fuel gauge as I know I always need fuel, even after Ive just filled up, damn GT4's

Oh it must be terrible to have a GT-4

id have to say the cup holder unless you have an auto
it is IMPOSSIBLE to shift with a drink right there
Its not Impossible. I can put in a Medium McDonald drink (0.4 liter) in it and shift without problems. Its only a bit awkward
You sorta develop a technique... i call it 'the crane. Hand on shifter, bend wrist to 90 degrees, elbow in the air

Hahahha So true!!!
I myself am quite familiar with
The Crane - being a girl with the small, nimble hands of the Japanese folks who designed this car, I have mastered
The Crane with relative ease. I just saw Blades of Glory on DVD last night, and have just realized
The Crane isn't too different from
The Iron Lotus if you have one of the following in your "cup" holder: anything larger than a standard 16 oz cup; anything
smaller than a 16 oz cup; anything hot; anything cold; anything with a straw that is taller than what you can actually get your lips on.
coin holder and ashtray light

holy sht, we have a rear ashtray? =x
exactly what I was thinking....who knew!

See the ashtray isn't completely useless. It can be used as a campfire.
In seriousness i would say the coin holder.

ill go.
the drivers side vanity mirror, duno if you us or uk folk have one but all aus deliveries do.
cup holders rock, much better position then 5th gen celica. maccas drinks are fine, and if you have a bottle just drop it between the seat and the door, even if u open the door most of the time they just sit there.
the vent below the steerer is a bit useless.
rear ash tray get my vote though, i mean if someone is smoking back there is going to dutch up the whole car and make it smell like arse.

idk, its a Japanese Car... and almost everyone i know(remember) from when i went to japan smoked, so that makes since to me...
i am gonna say "intake resonator" on the engine side
interior wise, that stupid little vent that blows air on your crotch on the drivers side... and then the stock radio tape deck, cause who listens to tapes anymore?!?@?!
here's one: sunroof cover.
what's the point of having a sunroof if you end up covering it.
also those little vents on the top side of the dash, they don't even blow out air!
rear seatbelts too since nobody wears them.
seat pockets on the back side.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm going to have to DEFF say the ENTIRE back seat. (except for the ashtray) Okay, i've used the ashtray (while working back there) but NO ONE could fit in my back seat. A midget would complain about sitting behind me. Seriously, My seat is all the way back, and leaned so far back that i sometimes am looking out of my quarter-glass.

(and thats just to keep my head from hitting the roof.) now when the top is down, i sit back up.

thats a very use-FULL item, a convertible top

On base-model STs (i.e. equipped w/nothing more than a steering wheel and gas pedal - it's already slow, so no need for pesky brakes that just add weight

) there's a red rectangle "reflector" on the bottom corner of the door. It does not light up, nor does it reflect. It's simply a red plastic rectangle. I think this is (was) probably the most useless thing on my car. However with the simple addition of a new door harness (power window conversion!) my red rectangle now lights up.
Yes I know I walked into that one.... minds out of the gutter!

I think the light is just in the hatchbacks. I discovered this at the Tacoma meet - I was absolutely insistent that coupes MUST have a light back there, but it turned out they didn't.
