i used a plastic promoter, its like a primer for plastics. follow can directions with time and how to paint lol
- clean off grease, wax, dirt...
- sand first with 400 or 600 (wet sanding is better, to creat a slighty roughish surface)
***take your time on the sanding, anything you mess up here will show up later
- 2 coats of plastic promoter
- 2 coats of paint (i choose dupli color, small and expensive can - nice colors to choose from)
- 2 coats of clear coat (if you want, makes everything shiny and smooth) i choose not to because when the interior pieces reflect off the sun its kinda hard to see.
Extra Tips:
-possible to sand in between the paint coats to give it a smoother finish.
-give the paint some time to dry properly, the more your rush the worst its going to look
- wear gloves and breathing mask..
hope that helps.
