what is 4fge or something like that what is beams and i know what the 3sgte is, waht is the diff between all motors for the 6gc along with what i mentioned and the ones i didnt what is the best swap, what is the easyest swap, witch is the perfomance one,......swap meaning for the 94 coupe gt 5spd.....and witch moter can i put stacks on? like coomers

A Redtop Beams 3sge is a 2.0 ltr, dual-overhead cam engine that puts approximately 200 HP and has vvt-i capability. This is like a N/A revision of the popular ST205 3sgte with a few minor upgrades. The Beams 3sge engine's are found in several different vehicles such as the redtop from the 6th gen. Celica SS-III and several rare SW20 Mr2's, Graytop from the JDM Toyota Rav4, and the Blacktop from the Toyota Altezza, which in turn has dual vvt-i and more HP. Although it's still a 3sge, this version is setup for RWD applications through factory. The engine that Coomer's old yellow celica is a 20v 4age silvertop. This is a 1.6 ltr dual-overhead cam engine equipped with vvt and Individual Throttle Bodies. To run stacks on a silvertop you will need to do a few things like use a blacktop ecu or equivalent, ecu connector repinning, a good source in the vac. rail for steady vac. pressure, and a wired up map sensor (basically convert AFM usage to MAP). Another 20v that you can run with stacks is getting the more expensive blacktop engine, which already runs off a map sensor rather then the air flow meter like the silvertop engines. The blacktop produces 170 HP through factory where as the silvertop is overrated at 160 HP. But....since you have a GT, your most preferred engine is the 3s' engines. And guys no flaming on me, i'm just guessing off the top of my head

love the info if all true very good job....so witch 3s motors are better for a swap what is the easeist to swap? the 3sgte or 3sge, and what will put out more the 3sgte or 3sge?...not wanting to swap trans unless i can find a good deal on one that i can afford...willing to upgrade clutch tho....im looking to get 325hp+

If you are looking at 325hp+, 3sgte is a better way.
Go with 2nd or 3rd gen and keep the WTA IC
With a few bolt on and maybe upgrade turbo, you will reach your goal without any problem.

Yes, the 325+ hp goal would most definitely be achieved with a 3sgte. In order to produce almost the same amount hp with an N/A is going to be very expensive. Although N/A engines are alot easier to put in since you don't need to make the plumbing for the intercooler and so forth, you still need to consider the cost when wanting to produce more hp. With a 3sgte and it's turbo setup, you're already set for at least 220 hp factory and if you upgrade to better internals such as pistons, cams, cam gears, rods, etc. you'll be able to get the power you want, maybe even more. You'll probably even spend way less money on building the 3sgte. But keep in mind that for that kind of horsepower the celica's stock transmission won't hold up very well. You need something stronger like a v6 solara manual transmission, and like everyone might suggest, a better clutch.

do you think the 3sgte will be cheaper then getting a beams (3sge) .........

witch is easeir to drop in? witch will bolt right on the tranny and mounts, with out modding.....so far what i read the 3sgte will mount right up to the 6gc gt.......whats the diff on gen why not 4 5 of even 6 is 2or 3 more reliable? will 2or 3 gen bolt right up to a 6gen gt?.........all in all iv decided to go with the 3sgte but now the question is witch gen to look for

Basically, it will be easier with 3sgte.
They both have "S" block, just like your 5SFE engine.
There are only 4 generations of 3SGTE (counting the one in Caldina as the 4th gen)
1st gen = Celica GT4/Alltrac ST165, 1987-1989
2nd gen = Celica GT4/Alltrac ST185, 1990-1993; MR2 Turbo USDM 91-95, MR2 Turbo others 91-93.
3rd gen = Celica GT4 ST205, 1994-1998; MR2 Turbo non-USDM 94+
4th gen = Caldina GT-T and GT4 ST215, ST246

Anyways, USDM refers to the models sold in the US, which are in a few ways different (worse ) than those sold originally in Japan (a.k.a. JDM). The front clip is the bit of the car from the firewall forwards, which has been cut off from the chassis and is sold seperately (rest of car may be damaged, unwanted, etc so makes it theoretically cheaper)

is it safe to put on a front clip?....do front clips mean engin included or just the bay?.....if im deciding to go with a 2nd or 3rd gen 3sgte motor i dont need a front clip do i all i need are engin, engin parts and wire harness.......unless you mean motor comes with front clip and is cheaper to buy front clip insted of motor by itself?

A front clip is basically having an entire front part of a car that consist of the engine, all sensors, wiring harnesses, lights, hoses, and other essential components. Reason for buying a front clip over just buying the engine is that it consist of everything that you need to complete the swap, aside of maybe fabricating a few lines/hoses and maybe the wiring harness. The motor mounts, complete downpipe, turbo, what ever it may be that you will need is already there when purchasing a front clip. Sure it's a few hundred dollars more to get one, but the end result will be that you may not need to go somewhere on ebay or something to find a part that you might be missing. Take my advice and get a front clip, I personally did my swap by just buying the engine and cut harness and came out that I needed to get a few more parts to get the engine running the way I wanted it to.

Celica GT-Four is what they call all-wheel-drive+turbo Celica (chassis number ST165, ST185, ST205) outside US and Canada. Not only in Japan but also in Europe, Asia, Australia, and NZ. We call them Alltrac Turbo here in North America. The major reason that JDM engines are more popular because their availability. 3SGTE only came in Alltrac Celica and MR2 turbo. There are only handful of them here in the States. 3rd & 4th gen 3SGTE has never been sold here in the States. 4th gen engine and parts needed for swap (wiring and ecu) are more expensive and harder to come by. The turbine housing of the turbo and exhaust manifold are casted into one piece. That mean you need a new manifold if you want to upgrade the turbo. There might also be a problem with availability of spare/maintenance parts for the 4th gen. I'm not sure how interchangeable of parts between 3rd and 4th gen.

putting bout 325+ hp what am i expecting in engin life? will it still handle a road trip to some meets or will i burn the pistons or piston rings...how will it do an a drag track how will it do on a handeling track?

depends on how good of a build you do. If you just throw it in and dont upgrade the proper parts or take care of it, it wont last long if you just throw in a 3sgte and head to the tracks. Some guys here have been running a 3sgte for quite some time.

All the info your looking for has been discussed many times before...If you need any help or anything send me a message. Ive always wanted to be involved with a swap before, just not enough free time to do one myself.
