best plug/wire would be OEM.

as for oil, lots of people love mobil1 every 3k miles.... but its really up to you and how much you want to spend.

15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
Best plugs are NGK BKR6. for wires either OEM or NGK. Getting bigger "performance" wires won't do anything at all. I got NGK 5mm wires (oem replacement) because they were blue tongue.gif

as for oil, I suppose Mobil 1 is what toyota recommends. I use Mobil 1, though I was using it before I even knew it was recommended, I chose it because it was the cheapest synthetic I saw in the particular store I was in (which didn't have a big selection btw) but it's really personal preference

bump...more suggestions needed!
i use ngk iridium plugs with magnecore 8.5mm wires, as for oil i use greddy oil since i get it for free wink.gif
eneos is the best oil for japanese cars since its from japan yet costs 8-9 a quart!
amsoil is 7 a quart
royal purple is 5-6 a quart
and then you have other oil from auto stores

I bought my celica 8 years ago, and I've tried everything in it from synthetics to regular oil, etc. I've personally put over 175,000 miles on it, and since it had 100,000 on it when I bought it, I'm over 275,000 on the clock now. I think what matters most is the frequency of the oil change and making sure it's never low, not the oil/filter type. I know others will disagree, but for most of my car's life I've used cheap Fram filters, and whatever high mileage oil is on sale at Autozone. I change it every 3k, and I don't run it too hard, so it keeps on running for me.
