well guys i am in the process of buying a gt4 hood and bumper after my oem 96 gt hood and bumper were damaged from minor collision... i am about to order the hood/bumper but i have heard that the stock hood latch will not work with a gt4 hood?? if this is true does anyone know where i can find a gt4 latch? also are there any other common problems? thanks alot guys

you are correct, the OEM USDM hood latch will not latch the gt-4 hood down, u need to extend the latch about 1/2" to 1" (idk the exact size, but someone else that has it can verify the size)

the easiest way to get the latch, is to just weld on extra piece to your USDM latch.
