okay...so is it just me....or does it seem like the hatchbacks are wider in the rears? like the rear quarter pannels/fenders seem to be wider on the hatch's....maybe its jsuts me...or maybe this has been covered before...but honestly what hasnt been covered before.....

i got a coupe and it just looks like the hatch's have more..."curves"

Having one of each, I can say that I think they are the same width. The curves are all the same except the coupe has the trunk lid while the hatchback doesn't.

but yeah 2 cars is costly, i dropped my celica from insureance when i got my subaru, they wanted like $400 a month for both, crazys cant drive it on the road even when its fixed.

back on topic 99.9% sure there identical, trunk space is probably the only size diff and even that should be preatty close.

coupes are wider in the rear end, rear wheels front they are the same, thats why rear bumpers made for hatches have to be lengthened to fit a coupe. imo i think the hatches look sportier, but the coupes look more refined, less of a "kids" car, imo that is, also coupes are lighter
