Printing Digital Photos - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #50972 22 posts Started by Supersprynt
Does anyone have any experience having their digital photos printed? I have read that Walmart is pretty mediocre, but I don't know about Costco etc.

Any insight is appreciated. I have a photo printer but its not new and the quality isn't up to my standards.

Thanks.

Ive had pretty good results at Target, but i havent printed any photos larger than 5x7. They are as sharp as the resolution you took them at, and once they are in a frame, i cant tell the digital ones from the film ones.

Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it...
My local Costco does a good job. I always get my small 4x6" prints done at a local place called Photohaus though...they do an even better job. But you can't beat 12x18" prints at Costco for $3 a piece. thumbsup.gif

New Toyota project coming soon...
Unfortunately I don't know of any local, small photo shops that could print them. I will have to look harder because they would probably do a better job. I am trying out Walgreens via Snapfish.com. I will pick them up today, so I will report on how they turn out.

those little kodak stations at CVS do a good job for me. i have a few prints up around my room, they look nice.

I highly recommend www.winkflash.com. Really good quality and fast turnaround. Of course high bandwith required and if you download their winkflash transporter application you can just drag and drop pictures from your folders into the program and it will upload them automatically to your account.

Looks like winkflash's current promo is 4X6s for .06 each
I just looked into Costco photo center and it says "from Snapfish by HP" which is what I used. So if they're probably using the same equipment as this Walgreens that Snapfish directed me to.

So I just got them back from Walgreens and I must say I am pretty impressed. The shots look really good and I'm happy with results and I'm a pretty tough critic.

I got 12 4x6 prints done and 3 5x7s and it totaled at $5.63.

Manny I don't know if they make pano-paper that size LOL. You may have to resize the file.

I assume it's the Epson Pro 9000 series? At least I think it should be with the seven color cartridges.

Is it on photopaper or do you use some weird sort of material?
