Hi, with our 3sgte motor, does there seem to be a problem sometimes with hesitation, like one moment it will be fine and the other it will bog, then if you pull over and sit for a while it comes back to normal, like my buddy has a mr2 with a jdm 3sgte swap, and he is having this problem, and tips guys>?

No one ever has hesitation in a 3sgte, mine is hesitating especially when there is no charge and sometimes when there is boost. I checked timing, cleaned MAF, this has apparently no link with TPS because this is not linked with throttle position. Wire, plugs and distributor cap are new.

check your engine codes, could have stored codes or a boost issue.
intercooler heatsoak is what it sounds like, putting you in safe mode.

do you have a front mount intercooler? the top mount air to air is no good.

I use water to air RC top mount setup. I give some gaz and at about 2200rpm it bug and stop at 2400rpm. It rebog from 3200 to 3400 rpm. Out of these range, it don't bog very often. When the engine is cold, the bog are worse than this. I'm not in safe mode because I disconnected the tvsv to have 13 psi.

check for engine codes. check for boost leaks. check your timing.
how old is your ignition system? could be time to replace plugs, wires, distro cap and coil. hesitation is the result of alot of different problems so its hard to pin point. take the time to give you car a full look over.
