oh yeah huh. my cousin in esco had to evacuate his house today. hopefully the fires end soon.
ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.

i called the park earlier today to see how it was going over there and they told me that they had to close the park .. but the lady told me that they will open the next day

yea if it is cancelled, then i guess its a good thing, kinda....i need to somehow put my rims and performance muffler on somehow ASAP before the meet, hmm......if it is cancelled where should we go? Speed Zone? or James Games ( a cool arcade place which is wayy affordable and cheaper than speedzone).....more info about James games just pm me! Thanks! Oh yeah me and MASKEDMAN is deciding which of these two is better....so we need your vote 6gc people!

Dude.. From what I hear San Diego is a national disaster area, so I highly doubt I would be driving down there to add more visitors to the mess, unless I can be of service and help some people out.

With that said i doubt there will be any fire activity come the weekend, near chino hills.

it looks like my area (Torrance-ish) is right in the middle of all the fires, yet a good distance away from everything (except the ashes and a little smoke in the air).

also, for all the 310 people (or anyone who'll pass through the area on their way to Chino Hills), the kids on newcelica.org are organizing a little caravan to join the bigass OC caravan heading out from Super Autobacs...if you're interested in rolling with us, click --> 310 caravan

I think I'm the only 6th gen in the 310 caravan as of now...and possibly the only one in the OC caravan too frown.gif

Whoa, what's going on now? Did someone say the chino hills park will be closed this weekend? Fill me up with the most recent info...I'm kinda lost with what's happening.

I am not going to be able to make it anymore. my car won't be out of the shop until Tuesday now. The painter got sick. Chance of postpone until next weekend?

Im sorry to hear about this man. Was looking forward to seeing you at the meet. I wouldn't mind to postpone the meet until next weekend, however I'm sure many members will be against this *cough cough jen*. But what I can do for you is host another meet on a later date so you can still meet a few of the members here if they are willing to show. I'm sure me and Marco can get something together for you, maybe just a small meet at James Games or w/e. But best of luck with the paintjob, i hope it turns out well. Sorry to hear about your painter. Hope he gets better and paints your car soon smile.gif.

yeah bro sorry that you wont be able to make it. yeah haha MaskedMan and me can probably do another meet for you so all of us 6th gens can hang out on another time and so you can meet them. but yeah i dont think they can cancel it because there are 200+ expected cars coming to the meet.

Attention NorCal folks - the caravan from the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento Area will be rollin' out around 3/4pm tomorrow (10/26) and will probably meet up on along 5. I"ll be checkin' in before rollin' out. Hit me up on PM before 2pm tomorrow if you want to join the caravan.

Update on the meet.

Wasup guys. Here is the situation so far ifor the Chino Hill meet. Most of the fires has been contained. Some are still going but are 60 to 70% contained so it should be gone by friday night hopefully. The places that got hit the worst was in San Diego County. Im sure you heard of thousands of people evacuating and staying at Qualcom Stadium for the night. Most of them went back home and hopefully none of their houses were gone however there's a little over 1800 homes were destroyed. The Chino Hill meet will still be going on. The city of Chino Hill is safe by the dramatic fires. Some members will not be at the meet because of what happened but there are still close to 100 that will show up still. I am looking forward to see you 6 gen celicas at the meet. I hope your houses will was not affected by this.

Man, i'm so up for next weekend. I ordered the OEM front extensions, hopefully i'll have those on the car by then also. i will also have the tune-up done, including replacing the radiator. So, i should be in a pretty good shape. So, let's set something up....

Thanks. (i'm still bummed-out though. maybe i should bring the rental Honda Accord tongue.gif--still debating)
