whats up guys (and gals)...im back, and if you havent heard, i bought another celica (a 94 st coupe) I have had it since may and it has been okay, although it has been giving me problems since the day i bought it

ready to drive it off when i bought it, wouldnt start (alarm shut off kicked in for some reason)

makes funny squeaky wagon wheel noise when its cold out

battery broke the distributor cap shifting around

now makes some clicking noice when i make turns (gears? CV?)

and the biggest one... i just got rear ended on sunday and they totaled the car for some reason

Now i know that the absorber is bent under the bumper but all the attatchments that bolt to the car under there seem to be in place, so another bumper should be able to just slide over it.

the insurance people are telling me they will give me what the car is worth minus the salvage fee so i dont expect to get a whole lot. but hey, its all good! could have been worse! 2 celis

no it was mine all along. its the other persons insurance company that is saying they will give me the money for it. but if you look at the pics, it dosent look that bad. but the spare tire well is dented from the back but thats not a big deal...

well what happened was i was at a light in a turning lane. i looked up and there was the green arrow, next thing i know WHAM!!!!! a lady in a 2001 avalon hit me. she admitted to the police that she was not paying attention and to my insurance company. now im just wainting for her insurance company to look at my car. hopefully i dont get raped too much.

does anybody know the value of a coupe? i was told the kelley blue book is not what insurance companies go by.

idk kelly blue book said around 5k for mine wihich is stock,so idk bout teh insurance companys..

The frame missing on the Ninja Turtle is sitting painted on my car! Also i got rear ended too. (Hence the reason i bought that piece) I noticed it looked like i slid backwards into a tree and it seems the same with you. I wonder if thats what celicas look like when rear ended?

wh? youre selling your car?! lol and i dont think they are the same bro. i was looking under the ninja turtle and the coupe but i would have to inspect it more.

good news though, the insurance adjuster didnt total it out, said it would be around 1200 which they also said wasnt at 50% (75% is what NC requires totaled) so hopefully i can see what else needs to be done and there will be extra money to fix it

Trying to, no luck. Probably gonna have to keep it and get a 2nd job. Goodluck with the turtle glad to hear it isn't deemed totaled.

Charlotte is REALLY HARD on Celicas. Mine is waiting to be totaled out. So that makes what piro like 4 in 6 months time?

Possible drunk driver triple hit and run. Both cars going opposite directions on south blvd right next to the double yellow. He turns a left right in front of me ....and behind the cop that was in front of me. Took the RF out BAD, probably moved the strut tower. Then he continued down the road hitting 2 more parked cars and stopped about an 1/8 mile from my car and got out on foot and ran. The driver wasn't even the owner, some 22 year old punk of no name relation, owner had insurance and my lawyer is taking up from there. The car was perfect when it happened and now I can't find another 6gc GT.

damn bro!!! I know of an st hatch for sale here but i dont know if they ever figured out what was wrong with the motor. its REAL nice too.
