would these cam gears work for a a 7afe? i know that the engines are different in displacement and all, but im just wondering if these would be a direct bolt onto the 7afe intake and exhaust cams.

I was hoping someone would answer this question. I'm looking into getting a Fidanza Adjustable Cam Gear. I think theres a good possibility a 4AGE cam gear will fit the 7A but I'm not sure enough yet to spend over $100 to find out

oh and FYI you can get nicer HKS or Fidanza cam gears for less than that OBX for $200

7AFE is clearly not a 4AGE... so what would make you to think it could work?

And what is the point of dual cam gears on a 7A? The 7A is like a SOHC engine - Slave cam.

true, i hadnt even thought about that. Well then would a single one of those cam gears fit? all i want is the adjustability. **** i just realized that it was for the 4age motor, i was tired last night when i posted this i thought it was for a 4afe motor, but i just realized that those dont exist right? duh...my bad guys i was really tired. Are there any adjustable cam gears that anyone has found for a 7afe?

OBX actually makes a cam gear for the 7AFE or atleast used to make it. Im sure that one could be found.

sure a 4AGE isn't the same as a 7A but the question was would it work. there is no 7AGE but people have made it work. I see the point in saying the main difference between the two is in the top end so it probably wouldn't work, but I would like to know from someone who has had both cam gears in their hands how similar or different they really are.

you just don't buy 2 of them. its not like a SOHC engine, there are still 2 cams no matter how they are driven.
