sorry to hijack the thread, but are these direct bolt on to the 7afe and what sort of benefit do they have?
Yes, direct bolt on to 7afe. The benefit is you have a low mileage jdm trans.

I doubt it has a limited slip.. I don't know about the gear ratios either.. the trans came with a 20v... I just used the engine.

if you had to guess, would you say the transmission would have a more agressive feel than the stock 7a transmission? im very interested, how many miles are on the transmission?

I couldn't tell you how it feels, I've never driven a car with this transmission in it. I'd say it has somewhere between 40-70K miles. It's off of a JDM imported 20V.. so I mean.. we all know that every JDM engine only has like.. 5 miles on it lol.

well, i was planning on a 3sgte swap next year. but all of a sudden a 7afte setup is falling right into my lap. this would be a better transmission for a 7afte, yes?

It is a C52, same as the stock ST tranny with slightly lower gears
if it is the same as the ae92. (by slightly I mean about 400 rpm at 60mph in 5th gear)
$150.00 is a decent price. I need one for my corolla but plan to use the one from my celi when I
swap it.

The 20V tranny is actually heavier than the 7A's. Don't Know if its because of the gears or if it even has LSD.
so uh.. anyone want to buy this thing or what?

I just checked the trans and I'm 90% positive it is NOT A LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL!
Otherwise it's in great shape and ready to be used to replace a grinding ST trans!

so the rpm has to be around what to go about 75-80? higher or lower that the stock 7afe's tranny?
if i can run at a lower rpm, i can save even more fuel on highway trips*
